an ee cummings kind of day!

there is a particular kind of day, all blue sky and bright sun and verdant green, that always makes me want to yell my favourite ee cummings poem out to the world. the kind of day that makes me happy to be alive, and sort of wonderous that so much beauty exists and that i live in it. awesome!

i thank You God for most this amazing
day: for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes

Climb Thomas, Climb!

A good friend of mine has a 5 year old grandson who is in hospital in Edmonton battling an e-coli infection. He is literally in the fight of his life. So whatever you believe, please take a moment today to think of him and his family. Along with the rest of the people who love him, my prayer today is 'Climb Thomas, Climb!'
