The Wall of Remembrance at the UN Memorial Cemetary in Busan is inscribed with the names of the 40 896 UN personnel who were killed in the Korean War. 

1.2 million people total died in the 3-year war, which ended with a ceasefire on July 27, 1953.

A treaty has never been signed. 

Technically, North and South Korea remain at war.
